Twelve people were injured in a fire that broke out in a hotel in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul.
The incident occurred at a six-story hotel on Muhasebeci Street in the Cevizlik neighborhood of the district. A fire broke out on the first floor of the hotel for an unknown reason. The flames, which quickly grew and spread to the upper floors, covered the building's exterior. Firefighters, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
12 PEOPLE INJURED
Seven people trapped on the upper floors were evacuated by firefighting teams. The 12 people injured in the fire received initial treatment in ambulances and were taken to the hospital. After approximately one hour of efforts, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
