In a fire that broke out at the Rıza Paşa Police Station, which dates back to the 19th century in Kadıköy, the lifeless body of 18-year-old Tanay Şarman was found. His friends stated that they were present at the scene during the fire and that Tanay was under the influence of substances. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
On February 8th, a fire broke out at the Rıza Paşa Police Station, built in the 19th century in Kadıköy, where restoration work had begun. The lifeless body of a person was found. The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Tanay Şarman. As a result of the police's investigations, the statements of Şarman's friends at the police station were revealed.
The fire broke out on February 8th around 04:00 in the three-story historical building located on Mühürdar Police Station Street in the Caferağa neighborhood. After the fire quickly spread, police, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the investigations conducted after the fire, the lifeless body of a person was found. The identity of the individual, who could not be identified, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
"HE WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF SUBSTANCES, COULDN'T GET OUT"
In the investigations conducted by the Public Order Bureau teams of the Kadıköy District Police Department, A.Ç., S.U.A., Ö.A.K., and A.B., who were found to be in the building at the time of the incident, were detained. After police interviews, it was determined that the person who lost his life at the scene was 18-year-old Tanay Şarman, a friend of the suspects. It was claimed that the friends who gave statements at the police station said, "We lit a fire on the second floor of the building to warm up. The flames got out of control and engulfed the entire building. Tanay was under the influence of substances and was not himself; we couldn't get him out."
HIS FAMILY IS AFTER THE PERSON SELLING DRUGS
While 3 of the suspects were released, 1 was released under judicial control. Meanwhile, it was learned that Tanay Şarman's family was gathering evidence against a person in his 30s for allegedly selling drugs to young people.
