FIRST STATEMENT FROM SARAN SIDE AFTER 2-YEAR-6-MONTH SENTENCE

After Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran and his brother Alan Kenan Saran were sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison and a judicial fine of 562,500 lira each for the crime of "encouraging individuals to place illegal bets through advertising or various means," a statement came from their lawyer Serdar Yiğit.

"THE DECISION IS NOT YET FINAL"

In a written statement, Serdar Yiğit emphasized that the verdict regarding Sadettin Saran and Kenan Saran is not yet final.

Yiğit stated, "The verdict given regarding Mr. Sadettin Saran and Mr. Kenan Saran is not yet final, and it will be evaluated by higher courts through appeals."
