Following the announcement by Güler Sabancı, the Chairperson of Sabancı Holding, that she is stepping down from her position, Tuncay Özilhan, the Chairman of Anadolu Group, is preparing to hand over his role in June, which he has held since 2007. Özilhan, who took over the position from founding partner İzzet Özilhan, is expected to be succeeded by a member of the Yazıcı Family.
Güler Sabancı, who is the Chairman of the Board of Sabancı Holding, announced that she is stepping down from her position after 21 years.
ÖZILHAN IS STEPPING DOWN
Following this departure, it has been stated that Tuncay Özilhan, who has been the Chairman of the Board of Anadolu Group since 2007 and also heads Anadolu Efes Sports Club, will leave his position in June.
Özilhan, who took over the baton from one of the founders, Kamil Yazıcı, made significant contributions to the globalization of the group.
Özilhan is preparing to hand over the presidency in June.
IT WILL PASS TO THE YAZICI FAMILY
The new president will be from the Yazıcı Family. In other words, the presidency, which passed to the Özilhan Family in 2007, will return to the Yazıcı Family.
According to a report by Necla Dalan from Patronlar Dünyası, it is rumored that the new president will be Kamil Süleyman Yazıcı, who is currently serving as the vice president.
It is also stated that Tuncay Özilhan's son, İzzet Özilhan, will serve as the Vice President.
