At least 10 people were killed and 21,784 people were evacuated in floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in southern China. The collapse of a house in Sichuan and a landslide at a construction site in Guangxi contributed to the disaster.

Heavy rains have brought flooding to Sichuan Province in China. Five people died and 17 were injured when a roof and wall collapsed due to accumulated rainwater during a dinner held in the courtyard of a house in Xinbao village to celebrate university entrance exam results.
