A investigation has been launched against manager Ayşe Barım due to claims in the written and visual media regarding her participation in the Gezi Park events. Following Barım's detention, actor Halit Ergenç and Dolunay Soysert were summoned for questioning.

Ayşe Barım, who manages many famous actors, has been investigated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office following claims in social media posts and news articles, which were accepted as reports. Barım is now accused of participating in the Gezi Park events.

As a result of the efforts of the Istanbul Organized Crime Fighting Branch teams coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that manager Emine Ayşe Barım had intense communication with the defendants of the Gezi trial, Mehmet Osman Kavala, Çiğdem Mater Utku, and Memet Ali Alabora. It was found that Barım directed the artists under her company to participate in the Gezi Park events.

"A LIST OF ACTORS WHO PARTICIPATED IN GEZI HAS BEEN RELEASED"

As part of the investigation, actor Halit Ergenç and Dolunay Soysert were summoned for questioning. Journalist Emrullah Erdinç claimed that the prosecutor's office conducting the Ayşe Barım investigation had compiled a list of actors from ID Communication who participated in Gezi Park, and that the statements of the identified names would be taken at the Çağlayan Courthouse.

"DIRECTED ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS"

In a statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated, "In the analysis work regarding the suspect, it was determined that during the period from 29/05/2013 to 02/06/2013, she directed the artists associated with her company, ID İletişim Danışmanlık A.Ş., to participate in the Gezi Park events, and it was also determined that she personally participated in the events with the artists from her company. Emine Ayşe Barım, who was identified as one of the planners of the events, has been detained on the charge of 'Attempting to Overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey or Preventing It from Performing Its Duties.'"
