Security camera footage has emerged showing the final moments of Sevgi Yandık, who was stabbed to death by her ex-husband in Bursa. The footage captures the murder suspect Doğan Ş. taking the young woman from her home along with her 3-year-old child to a park, where the argument began. It was learned that the angry man had previously stabbed his wife in seven places, and the security camera images showed heartbreaking moments when he shouted "Die, die."
The tragic incident in Bursa's Yıldırım district had made headlines in Turkey. The event occurred on August 27, 2025, around 10:00 PM on İncirli Street. Sevgi Yandık, 27, who lived with her mother, was called outside by her ex-husband Doğan Ş., 32, under the pretext of "talking." The young woman left home with her 3-year-old child and met Doğan Ş. at the park. During a quickly escalating argument, Doğan Ş. stabbed his ex-wife multiple times with a knife he had brought, in front of her child at the park.
SHE DIED AT THE HOSPITAL
Sevgi Yandık, who collapsed in a pool of blood, died at the Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital despite all medical interventions. Doğan Ş., who fled after the incident, surrendered at the police station a while later and was arrested after his interrogation.

Additionally, in the latest security camera footage, the suspect Doğan Ş. shouting "Die, die" while stabbing his ex-wife Sevgi Yandık during the incident broke hearts. The case, heard today at the 20th Heavy Penal Court as part of the murder investigation, was adjourned to July 8 due to a witness's failure to appear.
