The foreign investor made a net stock purchase of 345.4 million dollars in the week of January 24, thus achieving the strongest stock purchase since April 5, 2024.
Foreign investors have been net sellers in the Turkish stock market in recent years. The year 2024 has also been marked by the exit of foreigners from stocks. In the fourth week of the new year, they made their strongest entry into stocks since April 5, 2024, with a net purchase of 345.4 million dollars. As of the first four weeks, the net position of foreign investors in stocks was calculated to be 108.4 million dollars.

According to the Central Bank's weekly securities data, foreign investors made a net purchase of 345.4 million dollars in stocks and 382.9 million dollars in government domestic debt securities in the week ending January 24. The foreign investor, who has continuously maintained a strong entry into bonds in the first four weeks of the year, made a total entry of 2.3 billion dollars into bonds during this period.
