A significant development has occurred in the case of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in prison while being tried for allegedly establishing a network for the sexual exploitation and prostitution of underage girls in the U.S.
FORMER PRIME MINISTER'S CONDITION CRITICAL Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland, who has been revealed to have close ties with Epstein and is under investigation for corruption due to suspicions that he may have received expensive gifts from Epstein, attempted suicide. Jagland has been hospitalized. It has been reported that the former prime minister's condition is critical.
Former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland JAGLAND'S PAST CONTACTS WITH EPSTEIN The decision by the Norwegian police to initiate an investigation against Jagland came after information revealed in recently published documents by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding Epstein. The new documents indicated that Jagland had made plans to visit Florida, Palm Beach, with his wife, two children, and his son's girlfriend in 2014, as well as to Epstein's private island.
It has also emerged that Jagland, who previously served as Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Peace Prize Committee, had requested assistance from Epstein for the financing of an apartment in Oslo in a 2014 email. In a correspondence from 2018, it was noted that Epstein had asked Jagland to arrange a meeting between himself and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and that he had some ideas he wanted to present to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Jagland stated that he had never visited Epstein's private island, which has been the subject of conspiracy theories.
Millions of documents published by the U.S. Department of Justice under the transparency law have led to the exposure of Epstein's relationships with some of the most influential businesspeople and politicians in the U.S. and Europe, who are accused of prostitution and the sexual exploitation of underage girls. Epstein had committed suicide shortly after being arrested in 2019 while awaiting trial in the prison where he was held.
