A new name has been added to those arrested in the fund investigation into suspicious transactions in the capital markets. Erman Çete, former Head of Department at the Capital Markets Board, who was in custody, has been arrested by the court he was brought before.
The fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the capital markets continues.
ARREST DECISION FOR ERMAN ÇETE
Within the scope of the investigation, Erman Çete, former Head of Department at the Capital Markets Board, was detained in recent days. After police procedures, Çete was referred to the courthouse. Erman Çete, whose statement was taken at the prosecutor's office, was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for arrest. Çete was arrested by the court to which he was brought.
WHO IS ERMAN ÇETE?
Erman Çete began his professional career in 2010 at the Capital Markets Board in the Corporate Finance Department; he served as Deputy Head of Department in the same department between 2019 and 2021, and later served as Head of the Intermediary Activities Department.
