Former Trabzonspor president Sadri Şener made striking statements regarding the recent Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe match. Speaking to Radyospor, Şener used very harsh words for the yellow-blue team's coach, Jose Mourinho.

"A VERY BIG MISTAKE"

Criticizing the appointment of 25-year-old referee Oğuzhan Çakır for the 3-2 Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe derby, Sadri Şener said, "It is very wrong to assign such a young referee to this match. You cannot have a 25-year-old engineer, doctor, or TV commentator in an important position in a company today; you would say they need to gain experience. They threw the young referee in front of everyone. This is wrong. In fact, if Atilla Karaoğlan had been on the field, if he had been in the VAR center, it would have been better. Assigning a 25-year-old referee to this match was indeed a very big mistake."

Speaking about the situation of Trabzonspor, Şener said, "Our team is not a good team. About 14 players have been transferred. It would have been better if 7 decent players had been acquired. I hope it gets better."
