In the town of Katima Mulilo in Namibia, 4 children between the ages of 3 and 6 died after getting trapped in an unused deep freezer. The police believe that the children accidentally got trapped while playing and drowned within minutes.

The Namibian police announced that 4 children playing in an empty and old freezer were found dead in the northeast Zambezi Region.

THOUGHT TO HAVE BEEN ACCIDENTALLY TRAPPED

Police believe that the children accidentally got trapped while playing and drowned inside, but the investigation is ongoing.

It is stated that two of the children drowned in the freezer, while the other two lost their lives while receiving treatment at the hospital.

"THEY WERE TRAPPED FOR 1.5 HOURS"

Zambezi regional police commander Andreas Shilelo said, "There was a hook on the freezer that could only be opened from the outside. They were trapped for about 1.5 hours and drowned," he said.
