GERMAN CHANCELLOR: WE WILL TAKE ON OUR RESPONSIBILITIES German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke at a joint press conference following the Volunteers Coalition meeting on Ukraine held in Paris. Merz stated, "As the Volunteers Coalition, we will take on our responsibilities. We want to help ensure that armed forces capable of being a deterrent to Russia are present in Ukraine in the future through armament, training, and financing."
