In the incident that occurred on Kurtuluş Mahallesi Fiskobirlik Caddesi, M. Gülen (61), who arrived by car at his brother and family's workplace, shot his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew with a pistol during an argument and fled the scene.
The mother, father, and son collapsed in a pool of blood. Upon notification, numerous health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The footage recorded by the security camera from the moment of the incident shows M. Gülen first arguing with his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, and then shooting his nephew, brother, and sister-in-law with a pistol. In the incident, Emine Gülen is seen being shot in the head.
SON DIED AT THE SCENE, PARENTS DIED AT THE HOSPITAL
In the massacre-like attack, nephew Resul Gülen (39) died at the scene, while mother Emine (58) and father Mehmet Gülen (66) lost their lives at Fatsa State Hospital after being taken there with serious injuries.
Efforts to capture the perpetrator M. Gülen are ongoing.
