In the money laundering investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, new documents and statements were added to the file in which Alptürk Enginyurt, the son of New Party Deputy Cemal Enginyurt, is listed as a suspect. The investigation records revealed that a hidden partnership was established at the venue Enginyurt visited for a 'goodwill' visit, and during inspections, unlicensed alcohol sales and employment of uninsured workers were found.

New documents and statements regarding the commercial activities of Alptürk Enginyurt, son of Cemal Enginyurt, who was questioned as a suspect within the scope of the money laundering investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, have emerged.

THE CLUB HE CALLED "MY BROTHER'S" TURNED OUT TO BE HIS SON'S

When the statements in the investigation file were evaluated together with the trade registry, business license, and Ankara Police Department records, it was determined that the entertainment venue named "Öküz Roof," operating in Ankara Optimum AVM, was operated by ARN 06 Tourism Food Transportation Industry Trade Limited Company, of which Alptürk Enginyurt is among the partners.

It was determined that on July 8, 2023, Cemal Enginyurt shared a photo from Öküz Roof on his social media account regarding this venue, where his son's partnership was identified, using the statements: "We are on a good luck visit to the venue my brother Murat Ertaş will be taking over at Ankara Optimum. May it be auspicious and fortunate for our fellow citizens from Ankara."

It was noteworthy that Enginyurt, who also tagged Muhammed Kürşat Şahin and Erkin Delikanlı in the post, was later revealed through trade registry records to have his son Alptürk Enginyurt as a partner in the company of the same establishment.

THE TRADE REGISTRY REVEALED THE PARTNERSHIP

In the records reflected in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette, it is seen that Murat Ertaş, Muhammed Kürşad Şahin, and Alptürk Enginyurt are included in the partnership structure of ARN 06 Tourism Food Transportation Industry Trade Limited Company.

In the registered record, it is stated that with the general assembly decision dated August 4, 2023, Murat Ertaş, Muhammed Kürşad Şahin, and Alptürk Enginyurt became partners in the company through share transfer. It is also seen that in his statement given to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Alptürk Enginyurt admitted to having a commercial connection with the company named ARN 06.

Thus, the establishment that Cemal Enginyurt introduced on social media only as "the venue my brother Murat Ertaş will take over" was officially recorded as including his own son as a partner in the company structure shortly after.

THE LICENSE IS IN THE NAME OF ARN 06 TOURISM

The Business Opening and Operating License issued by Etimesgut Municipality also reveals the company connection of the establishment. The license lists ARN 06 Tourism Food Transportation Industry Trade Limited Company as the business owner and trade name.

The field of activity is shown as "restaurant," and the address is shown as Etiler Neighborhood, Ayaş-Ankara Road Boulevard No:93/A3, where Ankara Optimum AVM is located. In the subsequent inspection document from the Ankara Police Department, the establishment at the same address is directly referred to as "Öküz Roof."

FORMER ADVISOR HAD CONFESSED

Ali Şenyurt, who served as an advisor to Cemal Enginyurt for approximately 7 years, clearly described the partnership structure of the entertainment venue named Öküz in his statement to the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Şenyurt stated that Alptürk Enginyurt managed the entertainment venue named Öküz operating in Ankara, saying, "He was even a partner in that establishment named Öküz. His partner's name was Kürşad Şahin. He is a close acquaintance of Cemal Enginyurt, who is a member of parliament."

Şenyurt also stated that Kürşad Şahin was a close associate of Cemal Enginyurt, dealt with construction work, and was "constantly together with Cemal Enginyurt."

ANOTHER WITNESS ALSO CONFIRMED THE PARTNERSHIP

Erkin Delikanlı, former Ankara Provincial Chairman of the Democrat Party, also described the same partnership structure in his witness statement to the prosecutor's office. Delikanlı said, "Muhammed Kürşad Şahin and Alptürk Enginyurt were partners in the entertainment venue named Öküz. They even had another partner; I remember his name as Murat."

Delikanlı also said that the business was managed under the company named ARN 06 Tourism Food Transportation, and that Alptürk Enginyurt and Kürşad Şahin were officially partners in the company. These statements overlap with the Alptürk Enginyurt-Muhammed Kürşad Şahin-Murat Ertaş partnership in the trade registry records.

POLICE INSPECTION ALSO INCLUDED IN STATEMENTS

One of the most striking parts of the file is the police inspection of Öküz Roof. Suspect Sedat Erge alleged in his statement to the prosecutor's office that while law enforcement officers were at the venue, Alptürk Enginyurt called his father Cemal Enginyurt.

Erge stated, "I know that Alptürk called his father Cemal Enginyurt, and that Cemal Enginyurt, in a panicked manner, spoke with the law enforcement personnel coming and going to the place where the police raid was, but I do not know the content of the conversation."

Erkin Delikanlı, on the other hand, said the same incident was of a routine inspection nature and that the establishment was checked because it was thought it might be connected to the Öküz venues, which were associated with the name Ayhan Bora Kaplan at that time.

POLICE DOCUMENT: ÖKÜZ ROOF WAS INSPECTED ON SEPTEMBER 13

An official record regarding the law enforcement inspection described in the statements has also emerged. According to the letter dated September 15, 2023, from the Ankara Provincial Police Department, teams from the Morals Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate conducted an inspection at the workplace named Öküz Roof on September 13, 2023, around 23:00.

Two important findings were noted in the police document. First, it was stated that the Social Security Institution (SGK) records of 6 personnel working at the workplace could not be presented during the inspection. Second, it was recorded that the workplace's TAPDK (Tobacco and Alcohol Market Regulatory Authority) document could not be presented, therefore an administrative sanction report was issued against the authorized person of the workplace under Law No. 4733, and alcoholic beverages ready for service were delivered to the police station.

THEY EMPLOYED UNINSURED WORKERS

One of the most striking findings in the official police document was that the SGK records of 6 people working at the establishment could not be presented during the inspection. While the document directly recorded that the workers were definitively "uninsured," it officially demonstrated that the SGK records of 6 workers could not be shown during the inspection.

It was noteworthy that such a finding was made at an establishment where Cemal Enginyurt, who frequently makes public statements regarding workers' rights, had a partnership connection through his son and which he had visited for a "good luck" call.

THEY SOLD ALCOHOL WITHOUT A LICENSE

The second critical finding in the police report concerned alcoholic beverages. The document stated that the TAPDK document could not be presented, therefore an administrative sanction report was issued against the authorized person of the workplace, and alcoholic beverages ready for service at the establishment were delivered to the police station.

Consequently, existing official records show that the establishment, in which the Enginyurt family is a partner, engaged in "unlicensed alcohol sales," revealing that the required TAPDK document could not be presented during the inspection and that administrative action was consequently taken.

CEMAL ENGINYURT'S INNER CIRCLE AT THE SAME VENUE

The connections of the people named in the Öküz Roof file to Cemal Enginyurt are also striking. Muhammed Kürşad Şahin, Ali Şenyurt, and Erkin Delikanlı are described as being among the people close to Cemal Enginyurt. It is also seen that Cemal Enginyurt tags Kürşad Şahin and Erkin Delikanlı in many of his social media posts.

For Murat Ertaş, the other partner in the company where Alptürk Enginyurt is a partner, Cemal Enginyurt uses the expression “my brother” in his post. Thus, a remarkable closeness emerges between the names in the company's partnership structure and Cemal Enginyurt's political and social circle.

SON IS A SUSPECT IN MONEY LAUNDERING INVESTIGATION

Alptürk Enginyurt, documented as one of the company partners of Öküz Roof, has given a statement today as a suspect in the laundering investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The prosecutor's office is questioning in detail Alptürk Enginyurt's financial movements, his companies, and the money transfers between him and his father, Cemal Enginyurt. Alptürk Enginyurt, on the other hand, rejected the accusations against him, arguing that his commercial activities are legal.

"HIDDEN PARTNER" AND "REAL BENEFICIARY"

The revealed documents definitively show that Alptürk Enginyurt is a partner in the company operating Öküz Roof. The documents and statements in the file also show that Cemal Enginyurt made a "good luck" visit to the establishment, had close relations with its partners, that his son Alptürk Enginyurt is a company partner, and that he went to the scene after his son's phone call during a police check and spoke with law enforcement officers.

Of course, no direct company partnership appears in the name of Cemal Enginyurt in the current trade registry and license documents. However, the picture revealed by the documents shows that Cemal Enginyurt's strong relationship with the people and the business around Öküz Roof raises new questions that need to be investigated, and that the "hidden partnership" discourse emerges with concrete financial and commercial evidence far beyond being a claim.
