After Brent crude oil prices rose above $70 in global markets, fuel prices have increased again. As of last night, there has been another hike in fuel prices. Gasoline prices saw an increase of 1 lira and 82 kuruş, while diesel prices rose by 0.05 kuruş.
Brent oil prices and fluctuations in foreign exchange rates are causing changes in current gasoline, diesel, and LPG (fuel) prices. Following a decline in Brent oil prices below $70 for the first time in a long time last week, there have been consecutive news of price reductions in fuel. After a reduction of 1 lira 15 kuruş in gasoline on March 4, an additional reduction of 2 lira 6 kuruş in gasoline occurred on March 7. Additionally, starting from March 8, a reduction of 1 lira 35 kuruş was applied to diesel prices.
BRENT OIL IS ONCE AGAIN TRADING ABOVE $70
Brent oil continues its rise that started on Wednesday. As of 08:35, it has risen to $70.4. These figures have caused a double increase in fuel prices. As of last night, a rise of 1 lira 82 kuruş was recorded in gasoline prices, and an increase of 0.05 kuruş in diesel prices.
