The incident occurred around 14:00 on Yeşilırmak Street in the Kepez district. According to the information obtained, the Motorcycle Police Teams (Dolphins) affiliated with the Antalya Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch, who were conducting routine patrols in the area, wanted to stop a person they suspected and perform an identity check. The suspect, seeing the police teams in front of him, suddenly started running away.

Upon the person's escape, the dolphin teams immediately gave chase both on foot and with their motorcycles. After a brief and breathtaking chase on the street, the suspect was intercepted by the motorized teams and apprehended.

During the GBT (General Information Inquiry) check of the suspect, who was neutralized and taken into custody, it was determined that his name was İ.Ş. In the detailed investigation, it was revealed that İ.Ş. was wanted for 34 different criminal files, and had a finalized prison sentence of 23 years as well as a judicial fine.
The notorious fugitive, handcuffed and taken to the police station, was first sent for a health check via a collection vehicle called to the scene, and then handed over to the police station to complete the necessary legal procedures.
