While 4 suspects were taken into custody regarding the incident, efforts have been initiated to capture Bahtiyar's 16-year-old son, who fled the scene.
In the Sur district of Diyarbakır, 5 people were injured in a fight involving stones, sticks, and firearms. It was learned that one of the parties involved in the fight is the brother and nephews of Nevzat Bahtiyar, who is detained in the Narin Güran case.
5 CHILDREN INJURED, INCLUDING NEVZAT BAHTİYAR'S SON AND NEPHEW
The incident occurred in the Çarıklı neighborhood of Sur district during the afternoon. According to claims, a dispute broke out between two groups, including M.B. (16), the son of Nevzat Bahtiyar, who was sentenced to 17 years in prison for the crime of 'aiding qualified intentional killing' in the case of Narin Güran, who was found dead 19 days after going missing in Diyarbakır, and his nephew M.B. (16). In the incident, Nevzat Bahtiyar's son and nephew, along with M.A.K. (16), F.K. (17), and F.K. (14), were injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. After initial first aid by medical personnel, the injured were taken to hospitals in the city for treatment.
4 SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Related to the incident, an operation was launched under the coordination of the Provincial Police Department's Children's Branch Directorate. In the investigation conducted by motorcycle Yunus teams, 4 suspects identified as being involved in the fight were taken into custody.
BAHTİYAR'S SON INVOLVED IN DISAPPEARANCES IS WANTED
Meanwhile, after Nevzat Bahtiyar's son M.B. was seen on the roof of a house at the scene with a pump-action shotgun, a search on the roof led to the seizure of 1 pump-action shotgun and 19 shells belonging to the gun. It was stated that efforts to capture M.B., who fled the scene, are ongoing. The suspects' procedures at the police station continue.
