"I HAVE 35 KILOS OF WEIGHT ON ME"
During the broadcast, a Mehmetçik, to whom a microphone was extended, pointed out the weight of the equipment he was carrying, saying, "Right now, I have about 35 kilos of weight on me. With all the equipment and ammunition, it goes over 35 kilos."
"MY BACK IS BENDING"
Later, while trying to put the bag on her back with the help of Mehmetçik, Fulya Öztürk stated, "Incredible, my back is really bending. There’s a helmet, a weapon, a flak jacket, hand grenades; all of these must weigh more than 40 kilos. It’s very difficult to maintain balance and walk with these, I want to understand you."
