Galatasaray announced the transfer cost of Alvaro Morata to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). It was stated that a total of 6 million Euros will be paid as the loan fee for the star striker transferred from the Italian giant Milan. Additionally, Galatasaray revealed that they will pay the player a guaranteed salary of 3 million Euros for half a season and another 3 million Euros for the first half of the next season.

Galatasaray also reported that they will pay the player a guaranteed salary of 3 million euros for the second half of the season and another 3 million euros for the first half of next season.

Galatasaray's statement explaining the details regarding the player's purchase option is as follows:

A temporary transfer agreement has been reached with AC Milan SPA Club for professional footballer Álvaro Borja Morata Martín for the period between February 2, 2025, and January 20, 2026. Accordingly, a total of 6,000,000 euros will be paid to AC Milan SPA Club as a temporary transfer fee.

For the player:

A guaranteed salary of 3,000,000 euros will be paid for the second half of the 2024-2025 season and 3,000,000 euros for the first half of the 2025-2026 season. Additionally, if our club provides written notification by January 15, 2026, there is an option to complete the player's permanent transfer for a fee of 8,000,000 euros. This amount will be paid in 6 installments.
