Galatasaray has signed İlkay Gündoğan from Manchester City on a free transfer. The yellow-reds have signed a 2-year contract with the star player. İlkay Gündoğan will earn 4.5 million euros per year at Galatasaray.
The Super Lig giant Galatasaray has signed 34-year-old star player İlkay Gündoğan, who previously played for Manchester City.
WILL EARN 4.5 MILLION EUROS ANNUALLY
Galatasaray announced that they have acquired İlkay Gündoğan on a free transfer. In the statement, it was mentioned that the yellow-reds have signed a 2-year contract with the star player and that İlkay will receive an annual salary of 4.5 million euros.
Here is Galatasaray's statement;
"An agreement has been reached with Manchester City Football Club Limited regarding the free transfer of professional footballer İlkay Gündoğan. A contract has been signed with the player under the following terms, valid until the end of the 2026/2027 season: a net guarantee fee of 4,500,000 Euros for the 2025-2026 season and a net guarantee fee of 4,500,000 Euros for the 2026-2027 season will be paid. This is respectfully announced to the public."
