Galatasaray, the Turkish football club, has accelerated its search for a midfielder during the winter transfer window and, in line with head coach Okan Buruk's request, has added former star Gedson Fernandes to its transfer list.
Continuing its journey in both the Super League and the Champions League, Galatasaray is carrying on with its transfer activities.
GEDSON AT THE TOP OF THE LIST
According to a report in Akşam Newspaper; Galatasaray, which has decided to make a reinforcement in the midfield based on Okan Buruk's report, has placed its former player Gedson Fernandes at the top of the list. The yellow-reds will push all conditions for the transfer of the 26-year-old midfielder, who transferred from Beşiktaş to the Russian team Spartak Moscow at the beginning of the season.
CONTRACT EXPIRES IN 2029
It is known that the Russian team spent 27 million euros, including bonuses, for Gedson's transfer. The report stated that in a possible trade offer, Spartak Moscow would request Sara, but the yellow-reds would not be keen on the Sara trade offer. The 26-year-old Portuguese midfielder's contract with the Russian club expires in June 2029.
