The Togg T10X will offer many new features to users with its new software version 1.5. According to the company's statement, Togg continues to add new features to the T10X through software updates.
With the updated new software version 1.5 and the ADAS transformation, many features will be activated to enhance users' mobility experience. The software installation and transformation will be carried out at specially prepared touchpoints, where users will start using 7 features such as traffic sign detection system, rear traffic collision warning, rear cross traffic alert, smart lane-keeping system, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and emergency braking on their V1 and V2 devices.
For the V2 devices that meet users before September 1, in addition to these 7 features, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go function and adaptive driver assistance features will also be installed as standard and free of charge.
"T10X USERS ARE CONSTANTLY USING A NEW AND UPDATED DEVICE"
In a statement regarding the matter, Togg's CEO M. Gürcan Karakaş expressed that they aim for T10X users to use devices that are constantly renewed and kept new thanks to updates, stating:
"Since the day we were established, we have been a brand that listens to our users' voices and keeps our devices on the roads constantly new with the frequent updates we offer. In line with this principle, we have created a schedule for the installation of the new 1.5 software, which has been eagerly awaited for a while, and the hardware renewal to be carried out at touchpoints for the T10Xs that hit the road before September 1, and shared it with our users. One of the most significant changes made under the GSR II regulation that came into effect on September 1 was the implementation of the cybersecurity protocol. Due to the changing cybersecurity standard, the cameras in our devices produced after this date needed to be adapted to the new standards."
Gürcan Karakaş emphasized that they completed the developments in this regard and implemented them on time, noting that they adopted the responsibility of providing the same standards and experience to the devices they delivered before the GSR II regulation.
Karakaş explained that they planned the appointments for touchpoints requiring hardware renewal to fulfill this responsibility, making the following evaluations:
"The meeting of ADAS features with our users who received their devices before September 1 took time due to this sensitivity. This way, the change in regulation did not disadvantage any T10X user. We continue our short, medium, and long-term plans with all our strength and speed in line with our goals on the path we embarked on for more than just a car."
THE PROCESS STARTS ON NOVEMBER 4
According to the information provided, T10X users with the "My Smart Device" registration will be contacted by Togg Care starting from November 4, following the notification to be sent via Trumore based on their geographical region, the order of receiving their devices, and the update status of the devices.
Users' appointments will be created starting from December 2, and they will be directed to touchpoints. ADAS installations will be carried out at specially prepared touchpoints in Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa Gemlik, Izmir, Samsun, Erzurum, Diyarbakır, Adana, and Antalya. Expert teams will provide services to users at these points. The installation and calibration of ADAS functions will take place on the same day. The application will be loaded onto all T10Xs delivered before September 1 within a period of 7-10 months.
"MEDIA INTERFACE" RENEWED, DIGITAL KEY SHARING ACTIVATED
The new 1.5 software, which offers a renewed media interface, allows changing the touch sensitivity of the T10X's screen in three levels. One of the new features will be the dynamic display of the maximum recovery that can be achieved based on the smart device's charging status on the dashboard. On the other hand, users who install and update the "My Smart Device" application with the 1.5 software will also be able to use the digital key and digital key sharing features.
With the new software, users will experience a more comfortable driving experience with performance improvements, new digital assistant commands, Bluetooth preference priorities based on profile assignment, and navigation directions reflected as directional information on the driver screen. Users will also be able to learn their average speeds, tire pressures, or ranges with voice commands, control the volume, and operate the phone book synchronized with the T10X using voice commands to make calls.
