Göztepe has sold its striker Juan Silva to CSKA Moscow for 15 million euros plus bonuses. The İzmir club had transferred Juan for 900 thousand euros.

JUAN IS GOING TO CSKA MOSCOW
CSKA Moscow, one of Russia's established clubs, has reached an agreement on all matters with the 24-year-old footballer and Göztepe. The Sport Republic company, which did not sell Juan—who received a 15 million Euro offer from French team Lille during the mid-season break last season—shook hands with CSKA Moscow officials after lengthy negotiations. It was reported that Göztepe will receive 15 million euros plus bonuses from Juan's transfer. It was also reported that Juan, who was part of the squad in the Slovenia camp but played very little in friendly matches due to injury risk, has said goodbye to the technical team and teammates.
HE WAS TRANSFERRED FOR 900 THOUSAND EUROS
Juan, who was loaned to Göztepe from English team Southampton in the 2024-2025 season, became a registered player of the İzmir team in the following season for 900 thousand Euros. Göztepe, which will make a significant profit from Juan as well, had sold its other Brazilian striker Romulo to German Leipzig last season for 20 million Euros plus bonuses. Juan Silva played 28 official matches in his first season at Göztepe.
