In Muğla, Zeynep Çalışkan, whose salary and bank accounts were seized due to a fake promissory note arranged in her name by fraudsters who took her first and last name under the pretext of a survey, won her legal battle. While the expert report proved the signature was forged, a public lawsuit was filed against the fraudsters. The victim Çalışkan warned citizens: 'They force you to settle for small amounts, fight for your rights to the end!'

Zeynep Çalışkan, who gave her name to people who came to her workplace under the pretext of a survey in Muğla, became subject to enforcement proceedings with a forged promissory note. Enforcement was placed on her bank accounts and salary, but Çalışkan won her legal battle.

According to the information obtained, Zeynep Çalışkan stated that two years ago, people who came to her workplace took her first and last name under the pretext of a survey, and she claimed that the request for help turned into a debt trap. Stating that a forged promissory note was arranged in her name by also selling English preparation packages under the guise of a survey, Çalışkan said, 'I just wanted to help by giving my first and last name. But it turned out to be a promissory note for selling English packages. They used my name, wrote my ID number, forged my number, and referred me to enforcement. Enforcement was placed on my salary and all my bank accounts.'

EXPERT REPORT REVEALED THE TRUTH

Stating that they immediately consulted a lawyer after the enforcement decision, filed a lawsuit, and obtained a stay of enforcement, Çalışkan noted that the opposing party claimed the signature was genuine and that after joining the case, the signature circular obtained during the court process, and the expert report from Istanbul, documented the fraud. Çalışkan stated that the report confirmed the signature was not hers and the ID number was later added to the promissory note, and that the court ruled in her favor even though the opposing party objected to the expert report.

"THEY VICTIMIZE WITH LOW AMOUNTS AND FORCE SETTLEMENT"

Describing the step-by-step trap, Çalışkan warned citizens, noting that there are many similar complaints about English sets on websites. Çalışkan said, 'They go to chain supermarkets and get names and surnames from all employees under the pretext of surveys, then fill out the promissory notes themselves. When a lawsuit is filed, because lawyer fees would amount to 20-30 thousand lira, they start enforcement with cheap amounts like 40-50 thousand lira so that citizens won't bother.'

PUBLIC LAWSUIT CONTINUES

Stating that the court ruled in her favor, the reasoned decision was issued, and they paid nothing, with all court costs charged to the opposing party, Çalışkan warned citizens, saying, 'We won the enforcement case related to me and our grievance was resolved. However, since the incident was proven by the expert report and has become a public matter, a public lawsuit was filed against the opposing party. That criminal case is still ongoing. Never allow such things, file a complaint. If you haven't signed or filled out anything, seek your rights; you will definitely win.'
