"TURKEY IS ONE OF THE TOP 5 COUNTRIES THAT ADAPT TO TECHNOLOGY THE FASTEST"
Speaking at the opening of the summit, Osman Arslan explained that many of life's big doors are opened not with big steps, but with small but correct steps.
Emphasizing that they are not just holding an event here, but presenting a vision that connects the energy of young people to Turkey's future, Arslan stated, "Our country has become one of the fastest-growing startup ecosystems in Europe in the last 5 years. One in every four startups is created by young people. The rate of female entrepreneurs has increased by 38%. The proportion of young women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields has exceeded the European average. The number of young people using digital banking has doubled. Turkey is one of the top 5 countries that adapt to technology the fastest." he said.
"WE WILL LAUNCH OUR ONLINE PLATFORM 'YOUTH ACADEMY'"
Osman Arslan stated that Halkbank has provided financing of 37 billion lira to 225,000 entrepreneurs in the last 4 years, and provided information about their Jet Luck competition, HUBrica Acceleration Program, and BİGE-Science Girls for the Future Project.
Referring to the "Halkbank First Step to Entrepreneurship" program, he mentioned that they hosted 1,000 university students at Halkbank Towers in Istanbul's Financial Center in two separate sessions in May and November this year, and added:
"We offered comprehensive training covering the fundamental stages of entrepreneurship, ranging from idea development to business model creation, and from technology to law. Next year, we aim to increase the number of events in this program to four, reaching many more young people. Additionally, in the first quarter of 2026, we will launch our new online platform 'Youth Academy' to provide uninterrupted support for the development journey of our young people. This platform will feature rich and dynamic educational content ranging from career planning to entrepreneurship, financial literacy to artificial intelligence applications, and from video training content to certification programs. Furthermore, we aim to broadcast our Gençİz Summit next year through this platform, connecting with young people across our country."
"WE ARE LAUNCHING THE 1 MILLION TL GENÇİZ LOAN"
Halkbank General Manager Arslan pointed out that they have added a new one to their loan packages, stating, "We are launching the Gençİz Loan to provide financial support to young entrepreneurs who want to start a new business or grow their existing one. We will provide this loan, with a limit of 1 million lira, without requiring additional collateral, with the guarantee of the Credit Guarantee Fund, to help you start your business. We are also raising our credit limits under the general entrepreneurship category to 1.5 million lira." he said.
