A family appearing on Cüneyt Özdemir's YouTube program claimed that they gave Levent 5 million dollars, received fake checks in return, and when they went to demand their money back, they were forced at gunpoint by Haluk Levent's men to sign a waiver.
Chilling allegations have been made about singer Haluk Levent, who was arrested as part of a multi-faceted investigation into the AHBAP Association. A business family from Ankara, appearing on journalist Cüneyt Özdemir's YouTube channel, claimed they gave $5 million to Levent, who said he was in financial difficulty after the 1999 earthquake, received fake checks in return, and were abducted to a mountain house and held at gunpoint when they went to demand repayment. Şaziye Kutlu, who said she previously owned 25 apartments, stated, "Now I live in an apartment next to the janitor's. It ruined our lives."
ARRESTED IN AHBAP OPERATION
During a recent operation targeting members and employees of the AHBAP Association, 14 people, including association founder Haluk Levent, were arrested and sent to prison. In the second wave of the investigation, several individuals, including Oğuzhan Uğur, were detained, while the most striking allegation about the incident was raised on Cüneyt Özdemir's broadcast.
"WE GAVE $5 MILLION, THE CHECKS BOUNCED"
Enver and Şaziye Kutlu, who learned through a reference that Haluk Levent was in financial difficulty after the 1999 earthquake, said they gave the famous singer $5 million in cash to help him. However, the family, stating that their lives turned into a nightmare after this process, expressed that all checks Levent gave them bounced. When they sought legal action, they said Levent transferred various houses and deeds to them in exchange for his debts, but they were drawn into a strange scheme.

Allegedly facing mafia-like methods while trying to recoup their losses, the family's experiences were recounted on the program: "They take family members to a strange, desolate place in İzmir. Guns are put to their heads. According to the family's statement, this happens entirely within the framework of an organization by people around Haluk Levent, and they are forced to sign a waiver. Meaning, 'Renounce these amounts and claims you have.' Later, when they go again saying 'Give our money back, we can't take it anymore,' they are taken to a strange street in Ankara. The same scenario plays out; they are forced to sign documents renouncing all their rights at gunpoint."
"I NOW LIVE NEXT TO THE BUILDING SUPERINTENDENT"
Şaziye Kutlu, who stated that her family once owned a fortune as one of Ankara's richest families but lost all their assets, said tearfully: "I used to have 25 apartments. Now I have to live in an apartment next to a building superintendent. Haluk Levent completely ruined our lives."
"WE ARE NOT LOAN SHARKS, WE HANDED DOCUMENTS TO THE POLICE"
The Kutlu family, emphasizing they do not want to be portrayed as loan sharks and are merely trying to reclaim their lost properties and money, reacted by saying, "We are definitely not loan sharks. Our apartments were taken from us through threats. The more we tried to get those apartments back, the more money and apartments we lost. Haluk Levent is a certified fraudster since 1999." The family announced that they have handed over all fake check photos, title deed records, and forced waiver documents signed after the armed threat to the police. It was learned that following the allegations that caused outrage on social media, the multi-faceted investigation being conducted by the police continues to deepen.
