Haluk Levent couldn't stay silent about the ugly comment made about Gamze Özçelik, who just got married. Levent warned the person who made the comment, saying, "Writing these things about a woman whose relationship was exposed and abused by her ex-boyfriend goes against all the values we believe in regarding women's dignity. Let's delete the tweet, shall we?"

Years ago, Gamze Özçelik, who quit acting and started doing good deeds worldwide, recently married Bosnian-Australian actor Reshad Strik. Haluk Levent, who commented on the unpleasant incident Özçelik experienced in the past, reacted to someone who reminded him of the marriage with his comment.

A female user who made a post after Özçelik's marriage news said, "Gamze Özçelik has changed so much, may she be blessed. I had a Nokia 6600 mobile phone, we used to watch it." Haluk Levent, a close friend of Özçelik, responded to the user by saying, "Merve! You shouldn't do that! Writing these things about a woman who was exposed and abused by her ex-boyfriend is against all the values we believe in for women's honor. I know firsthand that she has been working for humanity for years. Let's delete the tweet." After Haluk Levent's comment, the female user deleted the post.

Gamze Özçelik's images were leaked to the press in the 2000s. After the images, a lawsuit was filed against Özçelik's ex-boyfriend Gökhan Demirkol on charges of rape.
