Singer Haluk Levent, arrested as part of the investigation into the Ahbap Association, was found to have married Nurdan Eriş, a mother of four also arrested in the same investigation, in Switzerland in 2018, and to have received money by having Eriş sell his companies. Additionally, he deceived Sevda Kurt, a suspect who was released, with a promise of marriage and took all her savings. Kurt stated that she learned Levent was married only three days ago while in custody.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Ahbap Association, 14 suspects, including singer Haluk Levent, have been arrested. The statements of the suspects continue to emerge. In particular, the statements of two suspects have caused a shock effect in the investigation.

THEY GOT MARRIED IN SWITZERLAND

Among the suspects arrested in the investigation, Nurdan Eriş stated in her defense that she met Haluk Levent in Switzerland in 2016, saying, "I have an established business there. This man extensively manipulated my emotions. I had a marriage with Haluk Levent in Switzerland. My children became attached to him because they grew up without a father. He deceived me. I sold my company in 2018. Before that, I had sent him money from my company in the USA. He used me. Most of the time, he would tell me, 'I have debts to pay, there are loan sharks, the mafia is after me.' I sent money to Ahbap once."

HE ASKED FOR DEBT JUST LAST WEEK

Eriş, who stated that they saw her as naive because she lived abroad, said, "I did not send that money directly to him. First, I sent it to Mr. Emrah and Zafer Yay. Just last week, he asked me for 15 thousand liras. I said, 'There is nothing left.' I asked what he would do. He said money was needed due to a check lawsuit. I asked if it would be resolved. I asked if he would get back on his feet. He said yes. He said his concerts could continue. Right now, I feel like a fool."

"I DECIDED TO DIVORCE"

Eriş described how Haluk Levent asked her to come to Turkey a few years ago: "I came. He sent money, we rented an apartment. I sent my children to school, paid school fees and living expenses. Now I have returned to my old company and have an income from there. I told him I no longer want money from him, just close my debts. He hadn't been home for 4-5 years, coming only occasionally. I have already decided to divorce. I realized something was wrong here, but too late. I wanted to believe because all of Turkey trusted him. He was saving victimized girls."

"WHEN HE REALIZED I WAS WEALTHY, HE CALLED EVERY DAY"

The statement of Sevda Kurt, one of the suspects detained and later released within the scope of the investigation, revealed the extent of Haluk Levent's misconduct.

Sevda Kurt, who stated that she lived in the USA for 20 years with an income of approximately 4.5 million and later decided to return to Turkey, said, "We met with Mr. Haluk after I wrote to Ahbap to help an elderly family here. We had a meeting. When he realized I was wealthy, he started calling every day."

"I LEARNED HE WAS MARRIED 3 DAYS AGO IN THE POLICE STATION"

Sevda Kurt stated that Haluk Levent invited her to meals and concerts, saying, "He told me 'we will get married and have children.' I didn't know he was married. I learned he was married 2-3 days ago in the police station. I believed him. He said if we pay off the debts, we will get married. So I brought my money from the USA here. On his request, I transferred it to people I didn't know. I gave him the money in cash dollars. After giving the money, he would disappear. I got it back from him under difficult conditions. I last gave him money in March 2025. This time, he met my mother and father. They also believed him, and he told me again we would get married. My marriage dreams were stolen. He owes me money and hasn't paid. I am a victim."
