MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın harshly responded to former Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Bülent Arınç's remarks regarding individuals affected by decree-laws, saying, 'Those chasing status for Apo today should first resolve this.' Yalçın stated, 'Political fossil, FETÖ courier Bülent Arınç does his utmost not to be forgotten and to remain on display in the museum of politics.'
Bülent Arınç, one of the founders of the AK Party and former Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, made a call regarding those affected by the Decree Laws (KHKs) at a conference titled "Social Peace and Politics Relationship" organized by the Full Democracy Platform in Ankara.
"THOSE CHASING A STATUS FOR APO TODAY SHOULD FIRST RESOLVE THIS"
Arınç stated that after the July 15 coup attempt, some individuals affected by the KHKs became unemployed and sought rehabilitation, saying, "Those chasing a status for Apo today should first resolve this. Whatever status you grant Apo, I am not against that process; I support it. I want this process to reach a conclusion."
WERE HIS WORDS AIMED AT BAHÇELİ?
Arınç's remarks were interpreted as being directed at MHP leader Bahçeli, who had called for addressing the "status gap" of Abdullah Öcalan during his recent group meeting.

MHP Deputy Chairman Semih Yalçın, in a social media post, harshly targeted Bülent Arınç. "What is the problem of fossil politician Bülent Arınç?" Former Speaker Arınç tries to stay on the agenda by harvesting poisonous flowers from fields sown with criminal records and producing remedy extracts for diseased bodies.

At the same time, he is trying to repay the political(!) gains he obtained during the days when he acted as a courier and intermediary for FETÖ. Arınç is misdirecting regarding the KHKs. He is not only hitting the stone with the axe but also shooting himself in the foot. Who knows, maybe he is covering for some moves. So, who are these KHK-affiliated individuals that Bülent Arınç has taken up the role of defending? They are people dismissed from public service or working in closed institutions due to affiliation, contact, or membership in terrorist organizations. What more is there to say!"
