A young woman, married for three months, was taken to the hospital by her husband after being shot in the head following an argument at home in Antalya. While the young woman lost her life, the man's words as he carried his wife to the hospital drew attention.
An incident that shocked the public occurred last night in the Kepez district of Antalya.
Helin Kutlay, who got married about 3 months ago, went to her father's house for a visit with her husband, İ.K. The couple, who had dinner with their family, left her father's house around 10:30 PM and returned to their home. A dispute broke out between the newlywed couple at their residence on Sütçüler Street for an unknown reason.

As neighbors heard the sounds of the argument and headed to the door, a gunshot was heard from inside the apartment. Shortly after, İ.K. came out of the apartment with his wife Helin Kutlay in his arms and said he wanted to end her life. The young woman, taken to the hospital by her husband, died despite all the doctors' interventions.
HUSBAND TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
After the incident was reported by the hospital police, police teams were dispatched to the hospital, while the woman's husband, İ.K., was taken into custody for questioning. Following the examination conducted by the crime scene investigation teams on the lifeless body of the young woman, Helin Kutlay's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
RELATIVES RECEIVED THE BODY IN TEARS
The young woman's body was received by her relatives in tears after the autopsy and prosecutor's examination conducted at the Forensic Medicine Institute and was taken to the Kurşunlu Cemetery for burial. It was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
