In the İnegöl district of Bursa, a drunk driver who did not comply with the traffic police's 'stop' warning was caught after a chase lasting approximately 20 kilometers. The driver, who was found to have had his license confiscated twice before for drunk driving, was fined a total of 710,000 TL, and his car was impounded for 3 months. Additionally, his license was confiscated for 5 years this time.
During an operation conducted by the teams of the İnegöl Police Department Traffic Bureau Office on Ahmet Türkel Ring Road in Bursa, a car was requested to stop.

However, the driver ignored the police teams' warning and began to flee. Subsequently, a chase ensued between the police teams and the driver. After a pursuit lasting approximately 20 kilometers, the vehicle was stopped, and the driver, Çağatay Y. (37), was apprehended.
710 THOUSAND TL ADMINISTRATIVE FINE
During the inspection, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and it was revealed that his driver's license had been confiscated twice before for drunk driving. In the breathalyzer test, he was found to have 0.98 promil alcohol, and he was issued a total administrative fine of 710 thousand TL: 200 thousand TL for driving under the influence for the third time, 200 thousand TL for ignoring the "stop" warning, 180 thousand TL for drifting, 90 thousand TL for dangerous lane changes, and a 40 thousand TL penalty applied to the vehicle owner.
DRIVER'S LICENSE CONFISCATED FOR 5 YEARS
The driver's license was confiscated for a period of 5 years, and the car was banned from traffic for 3 months. The detained driver was taken to the police station after the on-site procedures.
