Expressing his trust in the national team players, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "They feel the pain deep inside. I apologize on behalf of the team to our noble nation. We have full confidence in these kids. These results do not mean we won't succeed in the future."

Responding harshly to criticisms of the Turkish National Team, the TFF President stated, "Let's stop the vulture and hyena-like behavior. What would we lose by giving support? Criticizing Fatih Terim's statements as well, Hacıosmanoğlu said, "I didn't feel the need to call Fatih Hoca. I thank him for the beginning of his speech.
