In Bursa, six women were defrauded of a total of 12 million lira by Uğur T., who presented himself as an interior designer and real estate agent. The women initiated a legal battle and filed a criminal complaint. Uğur T. stated that his debt was not 12.5 million, but approximately 2.5 million lira, saying, "I am not a piggy bank; I am not in a position to return it all at once. This is entirely revenge-driven, a setup aimed at humiliating me."
Six women in Bursa filed a complaint, claiming they were defrauded by Uğur T., who established a close relationship with them and lured them into a trap.
HE TOLD SOME HE WAS AN INTERIOR DESIGNER, OTHERS HE WAS A REAL ESTATE AGENT
Uğur T., a father of two who lives in Yıldırım and separated from his wife five years ago, allegedly met six women, including beauty expert B.Ç. (33), finance expert Ş.C.S. (43), educator A.T. (50), and accountant G.T. (33), between 2021 and 2024, introducing himself as an interior designer and real estate agent through messages on social media.
HE MAINTAINED ALL RELATIONSHIPS SIMULTANEOUSLY
According to allegations, Uğur T. maintained his relationships with all the women simultaneously and, as time went on, began to ask for loans, claiming that his business was struggling during the pandemic and that his bank accounts were blocked.
Uğur T. received approximately 12 million lira from the six women in parts and at different times, and after paying a small amount of money in cash, he ended the relationships.
HE INTRODUCED THE WOMEN TO EACH OTHER: 'SHE IS MY SPIRITUAL SISTER'
Uğur T. referred to the women he was involved with simultaneously as his spiritual sister, friend, and closest friend. The victims filed a criminal complaint against Uğur T., who did not pay back the loans and did not answer their calls, and they reached out to each other through social media to get acquainted.
"I TOOK THE MONEY AS LOANS"
Uğur T., who is accused of defrauding six women he was in a relationship with at the same time under the pretense of marriage for 12 million lira, made interesting statements by participating in the program "What's Happening in Life" aired on Kanal D.
Uğur T., who does not accept the women's accusations, admitted to flirting with all of them, claiming that he took the money as 'loans'. He made the following statements during the program:
"I WILL PAY THEM ALL BACK"
I am a real estate agent, not an interior designer, but I do interior design work. I never told anyone 'I am an interior designer.' I am a global real estate agent. I am a person who is busy with work. I faced difficulties during the pandemic. I asked for support from my friends and loved ones. I asked my girlfriend for a loan, which is normal. I did not defraud anyone; I just asked for loans. They gave it to me. I did not take money from anyone by force... I will pay them all back.
"THEY SET A TRAP TO HUMILIATE ME"
Moreover, my debt is not 12.5 million lira as stated, but approximately 2.5 million lira. I received it in parts. I am not a piggy bank; I am not in a position to pay it all back at once. I insisted on telling them this. My place is known, my location is known. My phone number has never changed. This is completely revenge-driven, a trap aimed at humiliating me.
"THIS IS A NORMAL SITUATION"
I have had girlfriends and I have asked them for loans; this is normal. I absolutely do not accept 12 million. Maybe they added interest. The amounts given to me are less. And I have repeatedly said, 'Make it installment, I will pay.' I met only one of them through a dating site, and the others through social media. Yes, I flirted with all of them."
