A 26-year-old foreign worker, who was working in construction in Antalya, lost his life on his first day of work after falling from the fourth floor.

A 26-year-old foreign worker, who started working at a construction site in Antalya and got engaged 2 months ago, died on his first day of work after falling from the 4th floor. The incident occurred around 09:00 in the morning at a 5-story construction site located at Sakarya Boulevard, 2566 Street. According to the information obtained, the foreign worker Muhammed Mirrey (26), who was on his first day of work, began working with his cousin to remove formwork. It was learned that Mirrey had previously worked at another construction site but did not receive his payment, and he got engaged in his home country about 2 months ago before returning to Turkey.

While Mirrey was removing formwork on the 4th floor of the construction site, he fell to the concrete floor of the minus 2nd floor for an unknown reason. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The health teams determined that the young worker had died at the scene. After the investigation by the prosecutor's office and police at the scene, his body was removed from the minus 2nd floor and taken to the funeral vehicle. During this time, Mirrey's friends could not hold back their tears, and there was great sadness at the scene. Mirrey's body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for an autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
