The operating rights of the Çamlıgöze and Koyulhisar Hydroelectric Power Plants, owned by Electricity Generation Inc. (EÜAŞ) and included in the privatization program, have been transferred to Akkuş Architecture Construction Tourism Industry and Trade Inc. for a fee of 2 billion 160 million lira.

The decision stated that it was deemed appropriate to grant the operating rights to Akkuş Architecture, which made the highest bid of 2 billion 160 million lira within the scope of the tender specifications, and it was noted that if the company refrains from signing the contract or fails to fulfill its obligations, the guarantee will be recorded in favor of the administration and the tender will be canceled. In accordance with this decision, the Privatization Administration was authorized to sign the operating rights transfer agreement and carry out other transactions.
The decision approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on May 5, 2025, was made within the framework of the Privatization Law No. 4046 and related decrees having the force of law.
