The incident occurred in the coastal area of Camitepe neighborhood in Karasu district. According to information obtained, a citizen named A.Ç. (61), who was out for a walk along the shore in the morning hours, noticed an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) on the coast. Çabuk took the vehicle from its location and brought it to his garden, then reported the situation to gendarmerie teams.

EXTENSIVE SECURITY MEASURES WERE TAKEN

Following the report, Gendarmerie Explosive Material Investigation and Ammunition Disposal Team (PAMİT) and Crime Scene Investigation (OYİ) teams were directed to the area. Upon arriving at the scene, the teams took extensive security measures around the garden and its surroundings where the UAV was located and initiated a detailed investigation.

While the Public Prosecutor was informed about the matter, a judicial investigation was launched in line with the instructions received. The teams' investigative work at the scene continues.
