Businessman Orhan Ünsal flew from Ankara to the Çakırkaya village in the Şiran district of Gümüşhane with his wife in his private plane. Ünsal, who was enthusiastically welcomed by the villagers, stated that he would make flights to contribute to the promotion of the region.
Businessman Orhan Ünsal completed a 2-hour 45-minute flight from Ankara to his hometown Şiran district of Gümüşhane in his private plane.
LANDED IN HIS VILLAGE BY PLANE
Orhan Ünsal took off from the Polatlı district of Ankara with his wife in his private plane and landed in the Çakırkaya village of his hometown Şiran. Villagers who welcomed the Ünsal family took photos with the plane.
Ünsal, who obtained permission from the General Directorate of Civil Aviation to make his flight, told an AA reporter that it was exciting to fly over his village.
"WATCHING FROM A BIRD'S-EYE VIEW EXCITED ME A LOT"
Ünsal said, "Both the village headmen and the villagers welcomed us. They experienced excitement. They took photos with the plane." Stating that the landing area was cleaned by the district governorship and municipality teams, Ünsal expressed that he carried out the landing smoothly thanks to the work done in the area.
Ünsal, who stated that flying over his village moved him, said, "Watching from a bird's-eye view excited me a lot. I experienced different emotions. From time to time, we will make flights in the region. I want to contribute to the promotion of our region."
