Security camera footage has emerged showing an individual attacking his spouse, who is in the process of getting a divorce, with a shotgun in Bartın. The footage captures the moment when the individual waits for over 10 minutes, then gets out of the vehicle and opens fire with the shotgun as soon as he sees his wife, who then runs towards the restroom.
Okan Paşalı, who resides in Ankara, attacked his wife Ahsen Nur Paşalı (27) with a shotgun from his car parked at the district terminal in Amasra, Bartın, on August 27, 2024, along with his friend U.G. During the attack, Ahsen Nur Paşalı was injured in the leg, while Okan Paşalı and his friend U.G. fled and were caught in the Cide district of Kastamonu.
"MY AIM WAS TO SCARE" HE SAID
In the indictment prepared by the Public Prosecutor's Office, it was requested that Okan Paşalı and his friend U.G., who were arrested by the duty court, be sentenced to imprisonment of 13 to 20 years for the crime of "attempting to intentionally kill a close relative." Okan Paşalı and U.G., who are being tried at the Bartın 1st Heavy Penal Court, claimed that the detained husband fired at the ground with the shotgun to scare.
HORROR MOMENTS EMERGED
Security camera footage of the attack that occurred 8 months ago has emerged. The footage shows Okan Paşalı, who was inside the vehicle, waiting for more than 10 minutes before getting out of the car and immediately firing the shotgun at his wife as soon as he saw her. The moments when Ahsen Nur Paşalı also ran to the toilet during the attack were reflected in the footage.
