In a dispute over debts between two partners of a restaurant in Pendik, one of the partners had their own business shot at. In the armed attack, one customer inside lost their life, and two others were injured. A total of five people, including the instigator, were taken into custody.

On March 27, Thursday, around 01:30, terror struck in the Yenişehir neighborhood of Pendik district in Istanbul. Unknown individuals carried out an armed attack on a restaurant. Koray İspir (40), who was inside as a customer during the incident, was killed by the bullets, while E.G. (29) and Y.T. (45) were injured.

In the investigation initiated by the police regarding the incident, they tracked down the vehicle with its license plates removed that appeared in the footage. It was determined that the vehicle belonged to one of the partners of the restaurant. The investigation revealed that there had been a long-standing feud between two families among the partners due to a debt dispute. It was learned that as a result of the feud, one of the families shot up their own restaurant. After identifying the individuals involved in the incident, the Homicide Bureau teams launched an operation.

5 SUSPECTS IN CUSTODY

In the raids, A.G. (35), who is alleged to be the instigator, M.S. (20), who used a weapon during the incident, Ö.K. (24), who was driving the vehicle at the time, M.B. (27), and G.B. (32) were taken into custody. The vehicle used by the suspects was found in a parking lot. The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.
