A protester dressed as Spider-Man in Minneapolis, USA, became one of the most talked-about images of the day in the US after a fight with Jake Lang. The incident occurred during a demonstration Lang wanted to hold in front of Minneapolis City Hall.
After Lang, known for his anti-Islamic activities, arrived at the scene, counter-protesters surrounded him. The events during the demonstration, where tensions quickly escalated, resembled a scene from an action movie.
SPIDER-MAN JUMPED ONTO THE PICKUP TRUCK BED
According to eyewitness accounts and footage captured on cameras, a person wearing a Spider-Man costume climbed onto the bed of the pickup truck where Jake Lang was located. A physical altercation took place between the costumed protester and Lang.
According to local press reports, as the costumed individual attacked Lang, other protesters nearby also moved toward the vehicle. Police units intervened within a short time and removed the protester in the Spider-Man costume from the vehicle. The footage shows the costumed individual being forced to the ground by police and taken into custody.
Following the incidents, a total of 11 people, including Jake Lang, were taken into custody by police units.
