Last night around 05:00, a horrifying incident occurred in the central Karatay district of Konya. Following a report that H.K.'s petition writer, located on the ground floor of a plaza near the courthouse on Şehit Furkan Doğan Street in the Akabe neighborhood, had been shot, teams from the Karatay District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau sprang into action.
3 SUSPECTS CAUGHT RED-HANDED
Police teams quickly identified the suspects involved in the incident based on security camera footage. M.C., who had the petition written, and the instigator of the incident, İsmail C., along with İsmail A., who fired the weapon, and Mustafa El S., who was involved in the incident, were apprehended and taken into custody. The suspects were taken to the police station for questioning.
"THE PETITION WRITER SHOWED AFFECTION TO MY FRIEND'S WIFE"
İsmail A., who fired the weapon and was the first to give his statement here, stated, "Regarding the divorce case, İsmail C.'s wife, M.C., had the petition written against my friend. The petition writer showed affection to my friend İsmail C.'s wife, M.C., who is in the process of divorce, which made İsmail C. feel jealous, and he told us about the incident. I took my unlicensed pistol with me, and the three of us went to this workplace. İsmail C. stayed in the vehicle, and I fired three shots at the workplace with Mustafa El S. Then we fled the scene." it was learned.

The three suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were brought to Konya Numune Hospital for a health check. İsmail C., who had his petition writer friend shot by his associates, told journalists who were filming him, "He who does not know his honor does not know himself." The suspects will later be referred to the courthouse.
