STABBED TO DEATH IN A FIGHT
The incident occurred on June 7 at the Karsiyaka coastline. A fight broke out between Erdem Demir, an 8th-grade student at Karsiyaka Fevzipasa Middle School, and C.C. and D.K. (19). Demir was wounded with a knife in the fight. Demir, who was taken to the hospital, died yesterday despite doctors' intervention. Police detained C.C. and D.K., who were involved in the fight. After their procedures at the police station, the two suspects were referred to the courthouse the day before and arrested by the court.

It was reported that the arrested suspect C.C. has a total of 25 crime records for offenses including 'Intentional wounding', 'Drug use', 'Threat', 'Insult', 'Damage to property', 'Theft from open areas and workplaces', and 'Motorcycle theft'.
SHELTERED IN A CAFE AFTER BEING STABBED
Security camera footage has emerged regarding the incident where middle school student Erdem Demir was killed in a knife fight in Karsiyaka. It also shows people at the cafe intervening and pushing away C.C., one of the suspects arrested in connection with the incident, who followed Demir. Erdem Demir was laid to rest at Caferbey Neighborhood Mosque in his hometown of Salihli, Manisa. It was learned that Demir's mother is in prison for a crime, he did not communicate with his father, and therefore stayed at the Bayrakli Love House for a while. It was claimed that the animosity between Demir, who was beloved by those around him and had good relationships with his friends, and the arrested suspect C.C., stemmed from an argument because Demir did not call him 'brother.'
