A.D., who had a restraining order against him, attacked his wife F.D. with a knife while she was having a picnic with her daughter and relatives. The woman sustained 11 knife wounds to various parts of her body and was seriously injured, while the attacker fled the scene.
HE CAUSED HORROR AT THE PICNIC
The incident occurred at the Tatlikuyu Valley Picnic Area in Barış Neighborhood of Gebze district. According to the information obtained, while F.D. (48) was having a picnic with her daughter and relatives, her estranged husband A.D. came to them.
An argument broke out between them due to the restraining order against A.D. When the argument quickly escalated, A.D. attacked his wife with a knife.
F.D., stabbed in front of her daughter's eyes, collapsed in blood after receiving 11 knife wounds to various parts of her body. A.D. then fled the area after the incident.
SERIOUSLY INJURED WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon the report of those around, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. F.D., whose first intervention was performed at the scene, was taken to Darıca Farabi Training and Research Hospital by ambulance.
It was learned that the seriously injured woman's treatment at the hospital continues.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED FOR THE SUSPECT
Police teams launched an operation to capture A.D., who fled after the incident. It was reported that the investigation to catch the suspect continues.
