LOST BALANCE WHILE WORKING ON THE BOAT
The incident occurred at the port in Rumeli Feneri District. According to the information obtained, O.M.A.S.A.S., a 49-year-old Egyptian national who was working as a carpenter on the boat brought ashore for maintenance, lost his balance and fell from a height during work.
WITNESSES NOTIFIED EMERGENCY TEAMS
Nearby citizens who saw the worker, reported to have fallen headfirst from a height of about 3 meters, alerted the medical teams. Medical teams arriving at the scene provided first aid to the seriously injured worker.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
O.M.A.S.A.S., who was taken to a private hospital in Maslak by ambulance, could not be saved despite all interventions by the doctors.

Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident, and it was learned that the inquiry into the workplace accident is ongoing.
