A message written on a missile launched by Iran's Revolutionary Guards toward the UAE drew attention. The phrase on the missile, 'Habibi, America will leave; in the end, we will be left alone together,' caused a wide stir in the foreign press. While experts assess the message as an open threat and psychological warfare move against the Gulf countries, it was noted that the tension between Iran and the Gulf line has escalated once again.
A message written on a missile used by Iran's Revolutionary Guards in attacks on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has caused a stir in the foreign press. The phrase written in Persian on the missile, “Habibi, America will leave, and we will be left alone in the end,” drew attention.
MESSAGE TRENDS ON SOCIAL MEDIA
In a photo circulating on social media, a handwritten message was seen on the body of a missile claimed to belong to Iran. Comments suggested that the message was a direct threat to the UAE and a reference to “don't trust the USA.” In analyses in the foreign press, it was highlighted that Iran is using psychological warfare and propaganda language towards Gulf countries. It was stated that the phrase “America will leave” particularly aims to convey the message that US protection in the region is not permanent.
UAE TARGETED MULTIPLE TIMES IN RECENT WEEKS
As tensions on the Iran-Gulf front have escalated again in recent weeks, it has been reported that numerous missile and drone attacks have been launched against the UAE. The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that hundreds of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles originating from Iran were neutralized by air defense systems. According to Al Jazeera and CBS News, Iran also carried out new attacks on the UAE in the post-ceasefire period. It was reported that some attacks caused damage to energy facilities and port areas.
IRAN'S MESSAGE: “WE WILL STRIKE US BASES”
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards had previously stated that they consider American bases and military points in the UAE as “legitimate targets.” According to Iran International, the Revolutionary Guards issued harsh statements towards the UAE administration, announcing that points hosting American forces could be struck. Experts note that the message written on the missile is part of this strategy and carries a “you will be left alone” message to Gulf countries.
TENSIONS ESCALATE IN THE GULF
Despite the ceasefire declared between the US and Iran, tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have not subsided. In recent days, following Iran's missile and drone attacks on the UAE, air defense systems in the region have been reactivated.
