On the Antalya–Isparta highway, a husband and wife lost their lives after losing control of the steering wheel and colliding with a truck carrying marble blocks coming from the opposite direction. It was learned that the woman who died in the accident was undergoing cancer treatment, and the accident occurred while she was on her way back to Isparta with her husband after hospital check-ups in Antalya.
On the Antalya-Isparta highway, while traveling from Antalya towards Isparta, a car with license plate 53 AHL 239 driven by Ali Çapraz lost control for an undetermined reason, first crashing into the trailer of a truck coming from the opposite direction.
Due to the impact, the out-of-control car swerved and collided head-on with another truck loaded with marble blocks, driven by Bekir Ş. (license plate 07 CHK 136), also coming from the opposite direction. Upon reports from witnesses, police, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
HUSBAND AND WIFE LOST THEIR LIVES
Medical teams arriving at the area, where dozens of accidents had previously occurred, determined upon examination that the car driver Ali Çapraz (63) and his wife Sevda Çapraz (57), who was a passenger, had lost their lives. The truck driver Bekir Ş., who survived the accident with injuries, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention. Due to the accident, traffic was controlled in a single lane for a long time by gendarmerie and police teams, and the road was reopened to traffic after the vehicles were removed with the help of a tow truck.
THEY WERE BIDDED FAREWELL ON THEIR FINAL JOURNEY WITH TEARS
After the autopsy performed at the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute, the bodies were laid to rest side by side with tears in the village cemetery following the funeral prayer held after the noon prayer at Yalvaç Aşağı Tırtar village mosque.

Meanwhile, it was learned that the woman who lost her life had been undergoing cancer treatment, and the accident occurred while she was returning to Isparta with her husband after hospital check-ups in Antalya. The funeral was attended by Isparta Provincial Police Chief Erdem Bildirici, Yalvaç District Police Chief Inspector Ramazan Sayım, Inspector Ali Aykut Kerpiçci, district police officers, and villagers. Condolences were accepted by the deceased's sons İbrahim and Yalçın Çapraz.
