The driver of the motorcycle, 22-year-old Mert Yücel, lost his life in a collision with a taxi in the Alanya district of Antalya. The accident was captured on the helmet camera of Yücel's friend who was following him on the motorcycle.
The accident occurred around 09:00 on the D-400 highway in Türkler neighborhood. The motorcycle driven by Mert Yücel collided with the taxi driven by Hasan Doyurun at the intersection. The gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The medical team determined that Mert Yücel had lost his life. Taxi driver Hasan Doyurun was taken into custody to give his statement.
