A customer drinking soup at a restaurant in Samsun placed hair he pulled from his chest onto the plate. The customer, who did not want to pay for the soup, was caught by security cameras.
A citizen in Samsun placed hairs he pulled from his chest into the bowl to avoid paying for the soup he drank at a restaurant. The man, caught on security camera, had to pay for the soup he consumed.
The incident occurred in a restaurant in the İlkadım district in the evening. A citizen who came to the restaurant ordered ezogelin soup, and after drinking half of it, he placed the hairs he pulled from his chest one by one into the bowl. He then went to the cashier and complained about the hairs, stating that he did not want to pay for the soup he drank. The shopkeeper, noticing the redness on the customer's chest, said they would check the camera footage, at which point the customer admitted to his wrongdoing and had to pay for the soup. The moments when the customer pulled the hairs and placed them in the bowl were captured by the restaurant's security camera.
"THERE'S NO WAY THE HAIRS FELL LIKE THAT"
Osman Erdoğdu, the restaurant owner, stated that the customer was pulling the hairs from his chest one by one and throwing them into the bowl, saying, "The customer was sitting at table number 4, drinking his soup. He then came to the cashier and said, 'I drank half of the soup, I don't know if you will take the price for half or the whole.' I told him that since he said that, we would take the full price. Then he told me, 'Go check your soup.' I looked at the soup, and there were hairs next to the bowl. I asked the customer if he had put the hairs there because there’s no way the hairs could have fallen like that. We decided to watch the camera footage. Then we saw that he was pulling the hairs from his chest and throwing them into the bowl. When we saw this, we took the payment for the soup and sent the person away," he said.
"HE ORDERED A 100 TL SOUP"
Erdoğdu mentioned that the price of the soup he drank was 100 TL, saying, "We didn't let him go until we checked the camera footage. Because when we said we would check the footage, he said, 'I put them there.' We watched to be sure. This is the first time we have encountered such a thing. He pulls many hairs from his chest and puts them in the bowl. It was a 100 TL soup he drank. He doesn't have a psychological disorder, he answers questions normally, he is not drunk, we don't know why he did such a thing. After the camera footage, he admitted to doing it. He did not answer our questions about why he put them there and left after paying. Thank goodness our cameras recorded those moments. Otherwise, our shop would have been tarnished. We couldn't have explained this situation. Now, we thank God that everything is clearly visible in the camera footage," he said.
