In a wildlife park in England, a young man who entered the area where a tiger was kept lost his life as a result of the animal's attack. The final images of the young man, who had taken a photo with the tiger minutes before the incident, have emerged. The woman who took his photo said that the young man smiled, asked for one more frame, and thanked her.

New details have emerged about the tiger attack that took place on Saturday at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near the city of Doncaster in England.

A woman named Del Taylor, who was visiting the park, said she met the young man who died in the attack only minutes before the incident. According to Taylor, the young man came up to her and asked her to take a photo of him with a Siberian tiger visible behind him.

The young man asked, "Could you take a photo of me with the tiger behind me?" and handed his mobile phone to the woman and posed. Taylor was completely unaware of the deadly attack that would occur a few minutes later while fulfilling this request.

HIS LAST WORDS WERE CAPTURED ON CAMERA

What happened during the photo shoot was also recorded on video by Del Taylor's partner. In the footage, the young man was heard smiling and asking for another photo and saying, "One more, one more." After the photos he requested were taken, the young man said to the woman, "Thank you, ma'am," and then left the area. Taylor and her partner continued on their way. However, shortly afterward, a terrible incident occurred in the park.

HE CLIMBED OVER THE SECURITY BARRIER AND WENT IN WITH THE TIGER

The young man, believed to be in his 20s, crossed the security barrier shortly after having his photo taken and entered the area where a Siberian tiger named Altai was kept. The tiger attacked the young man who entered its habitat. In the incident, which took place before the eyes of visitors at the park, the young man was seriously injured.

South Yorkshire Police announced that on Saturday at around 13:35 they received a report that a person had entered the area where the tiger was kept. Despite all the efforts of the medical teams dispatched to the scene, the young man could not be saved.

VISITORS WERE EVACUATED

After the attack, emergency procedures were activated at the wildlife park. Officials quickly moved visitors away from the area while the park was evacuated. Eyewitnesses said that keepers made loud noises to distract the tiger.

After the attack, it was announced that the tiger remained in its own habitat, the animal was not harmed, and there was no other danger to the public. Police called for the attack footage circulating on social media after the incident not to be shared.

IT WAS ANNOUNCED THAT THE TIGER WILL NOT BE KILLED

The management of Yorkshire Wildlife Park announced that emergency measures were implemented immediately after the incident and that they were cooperating with authorities as part of the investigation. Park officials announced that the tiger named Altai, which carried out the attack, would not be put down.

It was stated that Altai was born in February 2025 and was brought to England from Dyreparken Zoo in Norway. The park's tiger section, opened in 2011, has a special habitat of approximately two acres for endangered Siberian tigers.

POLICE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION

After the incident, the park management offered condolences to the family and relatives of the young man who lost his life. South Yorkshire Police, meanwhile, reported that the investigation was ongoing to determine how the young man crossed the security barriers and entered the area where the tiger was kept.

The photos taken minutes before the young man's death and the footage recorded during the photo shoot were among the striking details concerning the final moments of the incident.
